The Lakeland Center is a multi-use facility in that we offer 4 distinct venues under one roof.

The George Jenkins Arena plays host to concerts, rodeos, basketball tournaments, arena football, volleyball, cheer competitions, dog shows, monster trucks, ice skating and so much more. With seating for up to 7500, your events promise to be a success.

The Youkey Theatre is a full-service Broadway Theatre and is the home of the Imperial Symphony Orchestra of Polk County. The Lakeland Center's annual Broadway & Entertainment series takes place here, as well as dance competitions, concerts, comedy shows and numerous other special events.

The Exhibit Hall & Sikes Hall combine to offer over 50,000 square feet of fexible meeting and exhibit hall space for events. Trade and consumer shows, banquets for up to 1,500, seminars, conventions and meetings will benefit from this flexible space.

We are conveniently located between Tampa & Orlando, via Interstate 4. Lakeland is the largest city within in Polk County.

What is the closet airport to The Lakeland Center?

The Lakeland Center is very accessible to either Tampa or Orlando International Airports, both located about 45 minutes away from The Lakeland Center. All major rental cars agencies are located at Tampa and Orlando, so getting to Lakeland is a breeze once you land.


Where do attendees park once they arrive at The Lakeland Center?

Does the Lakeland Center have an on-site hotel?

Yes, the Hyatt Place Hotel is attached to The Lakeland Center. This hotel offers 127 beautifully appointed rooms and all the amenities you would expect from a Hyatt property. Is The Lakeland Center a union building?

We are a non-union building. Florida is a right-to-work state.
